What is Virual Machine?
A virtual machine is a software application designed to run on a host computer in other to share resources together can install and have full functionality of the guest operating system as if it was installed on the local HDD.
The computer of a minimum requirement such as:
512MB RAM, HDD memory space of 10GB either i386 and amd64 architectures systems.
2. Vmware executable file for Windows or Mac operating systems.
3. Oracle Virtualbox executable file for Windows or Mac computers.
4. The Kali setup as an ISO or OVA file type.

Step 1:
Download Kali Linux ISO file from https://kali.org.
Step 2:
Open VMWare workstation and Click on “Create a New Virtual Machine”
(Player -> File -> New Virtual Machine).
Step 3:
Select the radio button “Installer disk image file (iso)”. The press “Next”.
Step 4:
Select the type of Guest OS to be “Linux” and version to be either “Other Linux 3.x kernel 64bit” (you can also select Debian from the option). Then press “Next”.
Name the guest OS in the “Virtual machine name” text area and select drive for installation (in my case is labelled as “C:”). Create a directory in Location and get the name. Click “Next”.
Step 5:
Create a partition worth 20GB and for which I use “19” in “Maximum disk size(GB)”. Select “Split virtual disk into multiple files” radio option and press the “Next” button.
Step 6:
Select the “Finish” button.

Select the option to boot Kali linux OS
Step 7:
Select Graphical Install option from the menu
Step 8:
Select your language and press Enter
Step 9:

Select and configure keyboard selection and press Enter

Write any hostname to distinguish your machine in the network here we are using kali as hostname and Select continue
Step 13:
Choose a secure password for the Kali OS for user and continue
Step 14:
Select Your Time Zone
Step 15 :
This is a major step for partitioning, I used Guided option for use entire disk.
You can create the manual partition as well
Step 16:
System is installing
Step 17:
Install the GRUB boot loader on the HDD to selecting the YES option from the options
Step 18:
Click on the ” Continue “to finish the installation.
Step 19:
After Reboot Kali logon Screen Look like this:
Step 20:
After Successful entering the password you can use Kali linux:
Kali is desktop comes up and running
